COVID-19 Update 22nd October 2020

The States of Guernsey have released a statement relating to a current COVID-19 infection case on the island and the potential for multiple secondary infections due to the local contact exposure of the person concerned.

As as result, the island is on a heightened state of alert as the SoG Contact Trace Team investigate and track. A number of private care homes have gone into lockdown as a precaution although the island status remains the same as the previous 3 months.  The general public advice is to maintain good hygiene and observe the border restrictions in place.  Be aware of the virus symptoms and take steps to isolate yourself and inform the authorities should you suspect you may be infected.

Submarine COVID-19 precautions

Submarine would like to reassure our customers that we have continued to deploy best hygiene practice in our office throughout the Summer and we have anti-bacterial hand sanitiser in our entry hall, boardroom, kitchens and toilet facilities.

Our staff have an established secure capability for home working should that requirement develop and we do not foresee (at this stage) any interruption to service levels and client support.  Stay safe Guernsey #Guernseytogether
